Mount Sinai, Kravis Children's Hospital, offers the most advanced diagnostics, treatments, and technologies available in every area of pediatrics because the health and care of your child are our priority. Founded in 1878 by Abraham Jacobi, MD, as the first pediatric department within a hospital in New York City, Kravis has been caring for children and adolescents for over 130 years.

Mount Sinai Kravis Children's Hospital has earned a prestigious spot among the country's top children's hospitals, as recognized by U.S. News & World Report in its 2023-2024 "Best Children's Hospitals" rankings. This accolade is a testament to their commitment to providing exceptional care. Their most highly ranked specialties are diabetes and endocrinology, gastroenterology and GI surgery, nephrology, and neurology and neurosurgery, demonstrating our expertise and dedication to your child's health.

As part of this project, I am tasked with enhancing and expanding the existing visual element. This is crucial in developing a more robust and flexible visual identity system. The aim is to ensure the design effectively communicates its message and creates a meaningful impact, enhancing the overall experience for patients and their families.

The butterfly serves as a critical visual device, creating an environment that fosters positivity, healing, and happiness and symbolizing young patients' transformative journeys toward recovery. The playful and whimsical aesthetic, with its bright colors, playful patterns, and imaginative elements, captures the audience's attention and sparks their creativity. It can create a visually stimulating and engaging environment that distracts from the stress and anxiety often associated with medical settings.
